January 2022 - I was honored to present a Senatorial citation to Janice Meadows, recognizing her retirement as Court Administrator of the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District, Blair County. Janice has over 25 years of distinguished service with the county.
January 26, 2022 - I had a wonderful time meeting with the PA Motor Trucking Association and learning about PA Trucking Fast Forward. This mentoring program will get younger people involved in the trucking industry. We were able to discuss how policy making process relates to businesses and how this impacts the trucking industry.
January 21, 2022 - I participated in the Mid-State Regional Chapter of the PA Association of School Business Officials (PASBO) legislative meeting to hear from school officials in my district. These annual meetings are a great way for me to learn about the issues that districts are facing and what priorities they would like to see in Harrisburg.
January 27, 2022 - I had the honor of presenting a citation to Bruce Erb and Laura Burke, commissioners of Blair County. Blair County celebrated its 175th Anniversary in 2021, but due to the pandemic, the commemoration was postponed.
January 20, 2022 - I had the pleasure of providing a legislative update at the Tuscarora Area Chamber of Commerce membership breakfast in Mercersburg, Franklin County.
January 25, 2022 - I was honored to introduce the PIAA 1A Football State Champions Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School. They are a great group of young men and we are all so proud of what they accomplished this past season.
February, 11, 2022 - I recently enjoyed breakfast with my new friend, Nasir, and his grandparents at Begin With Us Preschool in Altoona.
February 4, 2022 - I was invited by the Fulton County Center for Career and Technology to tour the Automotive Tech Program at Forbes Road High School and the Veterinary Assistant Program at Central Fulton High School. Fulton County Center for Career and Technology received a grant that was instrumental in supplying equipment for starting both the Automotive and Veterinary Programs.
February 4, 2022 - I stopped by the Fulton County Food Basket to visit Sue Cubbage, the Director of the pantry. Sue and her team are a great asset to the community.
March 27, 2022 - Congratulations to Zachary Kramer who recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Zachary is a member of Boy Scout Troop 171, chartered by the Otterbein United Methodist Church in Boiling Springs. What a fine, young man who has a bright future!
