While an unprecedented number of Pennsylvanians cast mail-in ballots this year, many citizens have chosen to vote in person Tuesday, November 3 and turnout is expected to be large. Below are answers to a few common questions you might have this Election Day.
If you attempt to vote in person this Election Day but your name isn’t recorded in the poll books, you have a right to vote using a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are explained here.
Did you request a mail-in ballot but not receive it? You can still vote on Election Day at your poll by using a provisional ballot. Here’s how.
If you applied for and received a mail-in ballot, but never returned it, you CAN vote in person on Election Day. Here’s how.
If you are a first-time voter, you must bring a photo or non-photo ID to your poll to vote. You can find details and more resources for first-time voters here. It’s important to note that there are two forms that must be filled out: one for the emergency ballot and the other for the authorized representative.
