Senator Ward to Participate in Committee Review of 2020 Election Results

HARRISBURG – Senator Judy Ward (R-30) voiced her support today for a planned review of the 2020 election results by the Senate State Government Committee.

Ward, who serves on the committee, said she looks forward to participating in a thorough review of the state’s election system so Pennsylvanians can have faith in the final result.

“As a member of the Senate State Government Committee, I look forward to being an active participant in this review to restore public trust,” Ward said. “We will continue our fight to uphold Pennsylvania law and the Constitution to ensure that faith in our election system is restored.”

The House State Government Committee will be undertaking a similar process.

In the days and weeks leading up to the election, PA Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar repeatedly violated the state’s election code even beyond the PA Supreme Court orders. These actions are very concerning and need to be questioned.
